1927 nm thulium fractional laser, sold today as Cynosure Lutronic Ultra.
Ultra is the current Cynosure Lutronic name for the LaseMD Ultra, a non-ablative fractional 1927 nm thulium laser used for tone, texture and pigment work on all skin types with minimal downtime. Its micro-channels also improve uptake of topical cosmeceuticals, which is the basis of the scalp protocol previously marketed as KeraLase with the KeraFactor serum. Sessions run five to ten minutes, and courses are typically three to six treatments spaced two to four weeks apart.
